Upcycling
At A Man Picked Up a Hammer and Saw LLC, we believe in the power of upcycling. Many of our projects are crafted from repurposed materials, showcasing the beauty of giving new life to what might otherwise be discarded. Our planet is precious, and with a little creativity and effort, we can transform old items into something truly amazing. Take, for example, the nearly 50-year-old door we restored; it not only looks great but also carries a unique story, proving that with some TLC, anything can be revitalized.
Replacement
Sometimes, replacing things is the only option. In this case, a customer moving into a new home discovered that what was once a home gym had a damaged floor hidden beneath padding. After some research, they found that the flooring was PERGO, installed in 2006, and learned that the template had changed in 2013. Although the new flooring wasn't an exact match, with a little modification, we successfully blended the two styles, proving that repairs can be affordable and effective.
